Meadow Yurt

Willow yurt did not disappoint! Such a unique stay. The yurt was decorated beautifully and had the most comfiest bed! A real feel of nature but with the luxury of a shower and kitchen with some lovely extras supplied by the hosts such as eggs, milk and marshmallows for toasting on the fire. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay in a yurt! The hosts were so welcoming, it was great to meet them and their cat! :-) Thankyou!

We loved our stay. From a warm and friendly welcome we were taken to our yurt down the lake. The surroundings are stunning and the hot tub was ready to go with our arrival time in mind. So many little details had been thought about. Communication was fantastic from start to finish. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for having us!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway in this beautiful yurt! It was picturesque and peaceful - just what the doctor ordered. Terresa was very quick to respond, gave really good directions and was happy to assist with any help we needed. The bed was extreeemely comfortable and the games in the case were a wonderful touch. We’ll be recommending to all family and friends and will be making an effort to visit again soon :) Thank you, again!

Meadow Yurt

We stayed for 4 nights in early September in the Yurt closest to the lake. The yurt and support elements (Kitchen / shower) were carefully thought out and very well presented. The kitchen and shower area have their own combi boiler so staying clean and cooking meals was very easy despite being "off grid ". The area itself has an abundance of wildlife including birds (great / blue tits) which are very tame and will ask you for food. The hosts are lovely people. Very friendly. During our stay they were available when we needed them but apart from that we were left alone. In short this is a lovely tranquil place to stay which will give a welcome break from the grind of modern life.

Such a beautiful trip! Thank you so very much for the wonderful stay at the Meadow Yurt. It was really perfect! Everything was just as imagined and expected. So super clean, you’ve literally thought of everything. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the lake is a real dream, there’s something super special about that spot. Terresa & Chris are perfect hosts, so welcoming. I really have had the best time, just what I needed. I will be most definitely be returning. Thank you again, for everything!

An absolutely unforgettable stay! This really is someplace special. The location is beautiful and within driving distance of many scenic spots, the yurt is gorgeous and really furnished, and the kitchen and bathroom make it feel like a real home away from home. Not to mention we got to star gaze from the comfort of a hot tub! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, but also gave us a lot of privacy. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more and we'll definitely be back in future.

What a superb place. Felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. Great little private getaway, the hot tub and fire pit made it superb. Would definitely recommend it. Hot chocolate and marshmallows to toast on the fire were a really nice touch.

Even more amazing the second time around!  Everything was perfect and we couldn't ask for better hosts.  We have been waiting to visit again since before the pandemic and we have not been disappointed!

We knew we were going to enjoy our stay at Oakvale from the moment we were greeted by Terresa and Chris ( big smiles). We were taken to the meadow yurt. A 5 star yurt, with a fully fitted upcycled kitchen and a fantastic shower room. All of which is completely off grid. Absolutely fantastic and well done guys on achieving self sustainability . All exceptionally clean. No COVID worries here.

 

The location in a 3 acre field could not have been more perfect. Nothing but nature , nature and more nature. And with the added attraction of a lovely little lake which was brought back to health by Chris and his understanding of natural methods (5 bales of barley). The site is self is only 20 minutes from the coast. How cool is that….. We had an amazing time here. Too short but … we’ll be back. I cannot emphasise enough, Chris and Terresa’s hosting skills. Two remarkable people with a remarkable vision.

Had an amazing stay in the fabulous yurt, very clean and had everything we needed and more. The view from the yurt was amazing and having the little birds eating out of your hands was outstanding, and owners were amazing as well we will definitely be back in the future.

Just got back from a lovely stay at Go Eco Glamping for the weekend, absolutely stunning place and amazing scenery. So peaceful also Chris and Terresa where fantastic hosts, couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend :)
