COVID-19 TEMPORARY AMENDMENTS TO
STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS


THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS WILL APPLY TO OUR STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FROM FEB 2021 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.[24]


Check In/Check Out [10]

  • You will be contacted 24 hours prior to arrival to confirm that neither guest nor anyone else in your/their household/bubble has any Covid-19 symptoms or been contacted by NHS Test and Trace, Wales Test Trace Protect or any other country’s official tracing body and told to self-isolate.

  • YOU MUST INFORM US IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT COME TO THE SITE IF EITHER OF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS, SUSPECT YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS THE VIRUS OR BEEN CONTACTED AND TOLD THAT EITHER OF YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD/BUBBLE HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH A COVID-19 INFECTED PERSON OR PET.

  • Your yurt will be available from no earlier than 4:30pm on the first day of your holiday. Any later check in time will be by prior arrangement only.

  • One of us will greet you on arrival and everybody must maintain a 2 metre social distance. You will also be required to use hand sanitiser before entering the meadow area and wear a face mask while you are shown to your yurt. (Unless current government advice is updated.)

  • Check out time is strictly 10am on the last day of your holiday.

  • You must follow the housekeeping instructions provided before you leave and complete the check sheet in the yurt. Failure to follow the instructions will result in the forfeit of your £150 damages/good housekeeping deposit.

 

What’s Included in the Basic Price [4]

  • Parking and access to the site and the grounds surrounding the yurt

  • Overnight accommodation in genuine Mongolian yurt

  • Bedding and linen – you may bring your own by prior arrangement (no discount will be given)

  • Towels, including tea towels

  • Bath Robes

  • Sun loungers

  • Solar electricity, water and gas

  • Daily allowance of firewood, kindling, firelighters and matches

  • Complimentary toiletries

  • Use of low wattage hair dryer

  • Use of private hot tub

  • Use of private fire pit

  • Use of private kitchen facilities

  • Use of private shower facilities

  • Toilet roll

  • Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and sweetener (individual sachets)

  • Cleaning equipment and hand sanitiser

  • Use of a rechargeable torch

  • Tea light holders

  • Wi-Fi access - coverage varies around the site and may not be available in every yurt. (free data is limited and access is subject to acceptance of usage policy at [13] in Standard T&Cs).

 

What’s NOT Included in the Basic Price [4]

  • TRAVEL INSURANCE - IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE ADEQUATE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER THE FULL COST OF YOUR HOLIDAY SHOULD YOU NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND FOR ANY REASON.

  • Slippers/flipflops – you MUST bring your own

  • Extra blankets/throws – we have removed all non-essential soft furnishings but this may change so please check before travelling.

  • Milk and fresh produce – we are currently not supplying any open/shared food stuff but this may change so please check before you come.

  • Spare Tea lights – you may bring your own but you MUST use the holders provided

Bookings/Cancellations[5-9]

  • All bookings are subject to a 25% non-refundable deposit.

  • The balance must be paid 28 days before the start of your holiday

  • A £150 Damages/Good Housekeeping Deposit is payable on the day of arrival (refundable within 7 days of you checking out).

  • Should travel restrictions or other government imposed measures prevent you from taking your holiday, you will be given the option to postpone it until another date in 2021 or 2022. NO REFUNDS will be given.

  • If you cancel your booking before the balance is paid, you may transfer your deposit to a new date in 2021 or 2022. If you no longer want to take the holiday you will forfeit your deposit. NO REFUNDS will be given.

  • If we have to cancel your holiday due to a local lockdown or similar event beyond our control you will be given the option to rebook once the restrictions have been lifted. NO REFUNDS will be given.

  • If we have to cancel your holiday due to a reason that is not covered by our Force Majeure clause [19] in our standard terms and is NOT coronavirus related, we will offer you the option to re-book at a later date or give you a full refund.


Your Responsibilities[11,16,18]

  • YOU ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ARRANGING YOUR OWN TRAVEL INSURANCE AND WILL NOT CLAIM ANY REFUND FROM GO ECO GLAMPING FOR HOLIDAY DISRUPTIONS/CANCELLATIONS THAT ARE COVID RELATED AND OUT OF OUR CONTROL.

  • You must inform us immediately if either of you have Covid 19 symptoms or become otherwise unwell while on site.

  • You must inform us immediately if either of you have Covid-19 symptoms or test positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of departure.

  • Should either of you become unwell during your holiday, you must both leave site and return home immediately and follow the government guidelines for self-isolation and test and trace procedure. NO REFUND will be given – you will have to claim from your own travel insurance.

  • Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will you be able to self-isolate on site if you are exhibiting symptoms, being off-grid makes it impossible to maintain the services required to support somebody who is unwell.

  • Both of you must follow all safety instructions given regarding use of the log burner, hot tub and fire pit. Full details are provided in the Guest Information Book in the yurt and we are on site to help if needed.

  • Both of you must adhere strictly to all the site rules – especially in relation to what can and can’t be flushed down the toilet. Failure to follow the rules will result in you forfeiting your £150 Damages/Good Housekeeping Deposit and you may be asked to leave the site immediately with no refund or recompense.

  • Both of you will check the contact details are correct and sign the pre-printed registration form on arrival, confirming that you have read and accept ALL of our terms and conditions – standard and temporary.

  • If asked, you will maintain a 2 metre social distance at all times from us and wear face coverings where appropriate (unless medically exempt).

  • Visitors cannot be accepted during the pandemic and you must not allow anyone else on site during your stay.

  • Both of you will follow the good housekeeping/Covid-19 safety instructions provided and complete the check sheet left in the yurt prior to checking out. Failure to follow the instructions may result in you forfeiting your £150 Damages/Good Housekeeping Deposit.


Our Responsibilities

  • We will adhere to the Welsh Government Guidelines and legal restrictions. We will do everything we can to minimise the risks to you, other guests, us and our wider community from Covid-19.

  • We will regularly review our risk assessment and make any necessary adjustments to our procedures if needed.

  • If required, we will maintain a 2 metre social distance at all times and wear PPE and face coverings where appropriate.

  • We have employed professional cleaners to deep clean and disinfect after every guest as per the latest Wales Tourism Alliance cleaning protocols and we will check regularly that it is being done properly.

  • We have invested in the highest strength (Log 7), environmentally friendly cleaning products and are committed to maintaining our very high standards.

  • We will be on site and available at all times to resolve any issues and make sure you have a wonderful and safe stay with us.
