If you're new to birdwatching, don't worry we've got you covered! Use the binoculars and bird guide provided to help you spot and identify the amazing birds you’ll see during your stay.



Nature Photography!
Our glampsite is a dream spot for anyone who loves photography and the great outdoors. There's so much to capture here, from birds and butterflies to curious little weasels going about their day. Down by the stream, keep your eyes peeled for rare water voles, and if you're really lucky, you might spot the otter that occasionally pops by for a visit. With a peaceful lake, a beautiful meadow, and stunning views of the surrounding landscape, there’s something special to photograph around every corner. At night, the magic continues - thanks to the low light pollution, the sky lights up with stars, making it perfect for night sky photography. Whether you're snapping shots on your phone or behind a big camera lens, this place is full of moments worth capturing.

Bring your bike!
Go Eco Glamping is situated in the unspoilt Ceredigion countryside, Just by National Cycle Route 82, making us a great base for exploring by bike.
This scenic ride follows the Ystwyth Trail from Lampeter to coastal Aberystwyth. It begins along quiet roads beside the River Teifi to Tregaron, then continues on off-road paths along a former railway through Cors Caron and beside the River Ystwyth, ending at Aberystwyth’s seafront.



Saddle Tramps & Trail Rides!
Distance 9 miles | 16 minute drive.
"Nestled in the hills of west Wales we produce bespoke harness and saddlery as well as offering a range of other equestrian services.
We also offer trail riding, horse and rider training - our stables benefit from miles of tracks and trails through forestry and over private land. All equine enthusiasts are welcome and will feel immediately at home here".



Cardigan Bay Watersports!
Distance 14 miles | 24 minute drive
The purpose-built watersports centre in beautiful New Quay, West Wales, offers sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, wingsurfing, powerboating, waterskiing and wakeboarding.
Equipment hire, RYA-certified courses, and regular sessions are available, all led by highly qualified instructors. The centre is a recognised AALA provider, ensuring the highest standards of safety and instruction.
Operating from Easter to the end of September, the centre benefits from its location in New Quay – home to Europe’s largest population of bottlenose dolphins, along with regular sightings of seals, porpoises, and seabirds.
Facilities include toilets, hot showers, changing rooms, lockers, and a coffee machine. Wetsuits can be hired for £5, and spray tops, buoyancy aids, lifejackets and boots are provided.



Mwnt Beach is Stunning!
Mwnt is on the Times prestigious list of best beaches in UK!
Mwnt is a wildlife haven and one of the top spots in Ceredigion to see dolphins. Its golden sands and rolling waves make it a popular beach day destination. Access is via steps or the Wales Coast Path. From August to December, you might spot seal pups—keep your distance to avoid disturbing them. Mwnt holds both Green Coast and Seaside Awards.

New Quay Harbour!
New Quay’s Harbour Beach on the Cardigan Bay coast boasts golden sands and is a favourite for fishing and water sports. Nearby beaches include Dolau and Traeth Gwyn. The town offers shops, cafés, and a range of local services. Organised boat trips are available, with regular sightings of seals and dolphins offshore. New Quay is a Seaside Award beach.

Ceredigion/Cardigan Bay has more than 60 miles (96km) of coast, 30 beaches and a bottle nosed dolphin population of more than 250, the largest population of dolphins in Europe, along with grey seals, harbour porpoises and lots of other marine wildlife.
For quieter beaches, we love Cei Bach near Newquay, Tresaith with its iconic waterfall right on the beach, Llangrannog with its lovely beach café and the National Trust beaches at Mwnt and Penbryn, which featured in the top 10 UK walks in the Guardian.
Llangranog and Tresaith are blue flag beaches.

Set along the Wales Coast Path and The Coastal Way, it’s ideal for a relaxing coastal escape.



Aberystwyth
Ceredigion’s largest town, is about 40 minutes away by car. It is a lively University town with a promenade and pier, lots of shops and places to eat. It has a funicular cliff railway and is the start point for The Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway which runs through beautiful countryside to the famous Devil’s Bridge Waterfalls. It also has cycle hire at Afan Cycles.

Dolaucothi Gold Mines
Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre is well-known for its long-established tradition of daily feeding of red kites.
The red kite is a distinctive bird of prey, easily recognised by its reddish-brown body, angled wings, and deeply forked tail.
At Bwlch Nant yr Arian, red kite feeding takes place daily at 2pm, free of charge.
Up to 150 red kites, sometimes more in winter, gather by the lake, swooping down to snatch meat mid-flight and eat while on the wing.
There is also a wide range of way-marked trails for walkers, mountain bikers and runners.
